FCEUX NES Emulator - Blackberry Port -

Updated FCEUX for BB10. By default I stretch the screen but you can override this and other settings in the    misc/fceux/fceux.cfg file.

Swipe from top to show hidden 'save buttons'
Tap top left to cycle through roms ( you'll have to wait for file dialog selection )
/misc/fceux/fceux.cfg   to fiddle with aspect ratios , PAL V NTSC etc.
/misc/roms/nes     put your .nes roms here.

BB10 package  1.10.5.1

  1. Looks like the images for buttons are broken. dpad, a/b/start/select are all distorted. But game play is smooth & audio is great.

  2. The latest bar file should fix this. It should look like the image above. I also initialize a 1280 32bit screen it should look in perspective and decent. You may have to modify the fceux Cfg file

  4. It works fine for me on my Z10. If you put the files in the correct locations (see original post) it'll work. If you don't have a file (.nes) in there, it won't work.

Only issue is that the buttons appear distorted.

  5. The latest package should look like the image attached, proportional and not skewed.
If it starts and exits immediately it's probably not finding ../misc/roms/nes/.nes file(s)

  7. It needs to find .nes images here ... otherwise it will start and exit immediately, not exactly user friendly I know ...

    ../misc/roms/nes/.nes

  8. My misc folder contains.....
    .....misc/FCEUX,
    .....misc/roms/nes/Legend of Zelda, The (U) (PRG1) [!].nes
    .....misc/roms/nes/Super Mario Bros. 3 (U) (PRG1) [!].nes

perhaps I need to change the file names?

    1. Just noticed that the save/load and slot icons were the only ones that don't show up distorted. Appears to have an issue with images that have transparency.

  10. Is it possible to make this a vertical app, on the z 10 it would make the game image more proportionate to the original game. Also the buttons wouldnt be covering the game.

  11. I've tried installing this on the playbook but I receive an error. Is this build specific to the z10? If so, what is the latest build for the playbook?
